These carrot looking vegetables are actually white radish and is one of the more popular Asian soup. All you need is a few chunk of pork meat preferably the “boney” part of the pork which will make great soup due to the bloody stuffs or was it bone marrow inside the crushed bones that will add sweetness to the soup.
It may sound a bit disgusting but it is pretty common everywhere and bone marrow suppose to help reduce your bad cholesterol level! Hmm.. I don’t mind that… except it is rather pricey for that section of the meat…

Some dried oyster and white pepper (those that are not grounded into powder form) to add a spicy kick flavor into the soup. Crush the pepper and store them in a special container that is meant for boiling and submerge the container into the soup during boiling.

Boil it for a few hours, remove the pepper container, season it with salt and you have a warm soup.

this soup is good to drink occassionally because it’s suppose to “clear” our internal organs of bad stuff accumulated from eating outside frequently but if drink too much will cause you to be breathless (some wise old people told me one), hehehe
