12JanPork with Preserved Vege

This alien looking vegetable bud are actually preserved in some fluid and has a very sharp sour and salty taste to it. We have to soak in water for hours depending on how much flavor you wish to retain before cooking.

After soaking and clean, cut it to thin slice. Thin slice the lean pork too, add some salt for simple marination. After that, stirfry the pork with garlic, some soya sauce, dark soya sauce and a fair amount of pepper. Add in the cut preserved vegetable and continue cooking for a few minutes. Add salt to your taste but usually the saltiness from the preserved vegetable is suffice.
