How do you guys cook your spaghetti? Do you just use the off-the-shelve sauce or DIY your own sauce? I’m lazy to make my own sauce so I always have a handy bottle of Prego sauce in the fridge for some quick spaghetti dish. I use the sauce as the base, and I can customize the addon ingredient as I wish. Continue reading ‘Spaghetti with Bacons and Prego Sauce!’

While some promotions are more marketing than value for money, there are still genuine promotions like McDonald RM5.99 lunch set that actually quite value for money. I tried buying off-the-shelve carbonara in a tin and it tasted awful and I have no idea how to make the sauce until I googled it one day. Too my surprise, it was amazingly simple to make! However, the cost of the ingredients are not cheap.
The original carbonara sauce doesn’t use cream, but the modern more commercialized version use heavy dose of cream. My version of carbonara sauce, of cuz’ I went for the creamy version.
I have some left-over chicken breast, so I decided to use it as the side dish for the pasta. I marinate the chicken with salt, black peper and some Italian mix herbs. Continue reading ‘Carbonara with Baked Chicken Fillet’
