14DecPapa John’s - Better Ingredients. Better Pizza

If you are bored with the sucky pizza from Pizza Hut, then maybe you should give this rather new pizza restaurant a try. Papa John’s tag line Better Ingredients, Better Pizza is quite a catchy one. They have a few outlets around Klang Valley such as Time Square and the one I tried was in Sunway Pyramid. My first thought when I read the tag line, I would assume the price will be higher. I do not mind paying extra for better quality pizza actually, but the pricing from Papa John’s is pretty competitive compare to the rest.

They have set meal option but it is limited to a few flavours from their entire pizza selection which I find a let down because the ala carte price for all them is the same. After some calculation, the set meal only translate to a free breadstick with pasta dipping. Not a very great deal or a great miss, so if the flavour selection from the set meal does not appeal to you, consider ala carte. The breakstick is quite okay to go with the special butter garlic sauce, but eating too much of it will just makes you full.

We ordered the Chicken Super Papa’s which is a chicken variant pizza. Initially we wanted the Super Papa’s which has both beef and chicken but that is not part of the set meal selection… booo… I can’t specifically tell whether the ingredients is better, but overall the pizza taste is much better than Pizza Hut.

One thing special about Papa John’s is the garlic butter dipping sauce which is great to dip on those crust that people usually dislike eating. The sauce is free.

The decoration of the restaurant is pretty normal like a typical fast food chain. Finding a seat is not a problem for the time being because it is not that popular yet. Overall a great meal experience and I guess I won’t be eating Pizza Hut for the rest of my life already..:D
