I guess lifestyle type of restaurant is popular nowadays. Not long ago, there was this new and rather successful restaurant at NZX called Fullhouse which has a theme of a house, and now 1 Utama opened a new restaurant serving similar foods, with affordable pricing and has a theme of a garden.
I accidentally bump into this restaurant at the new wing when their nice restaurant deco caught my attention. It is pretty hard to spot as the premise was tucked into some alley only with a small signboard extended all the way out to the walkway where most people walk around.

The entire restaurant was decorated with fake flowers and they are actually retail items with a price tag where you can buy. The environment is not bad but I feel Fullhouse is still more unique.

For their drinks, is pretty okay nothing special but is rather expensive. Usually, I will be a bit turn off patronizing restaurant that overcharging simple drinks. My friend ordered a pot of flower tea.

I ordered an Iced Cappuccino (RM8++). It was okay but a rather small glass.

My wife gotten the Honey Ice Lemon tea which has a small hint of flower taste in it.

Wasn’t impressed by their beverages. But luckily their food saved the day. I must say that their food is very good for the price they are asking. Is better than Fullhouse. And is a mile better than the crappy Newyork Newyork restaurant also in 1U for the same pricing.
Garden served western and also local food. They also fusion a little bit of asian cooking style into their western menu. We ordered the Pan Grilled Fish with a zesty sauce. The presentation and style of cooking is pretty similar to Fullhouse. But Garden added in ginger to the sauce to give it a more asian flavor which make the dish unique.

I ordered the black pepper chicken chop. Also a very similar item to the one in Fullhouse. The meat is well seasoned. The side vegetable were garnished too with garlic and ginger sauce. Most restaurant will just throw some plain vegetable on the plate and call it a day.

My friend ordered one of the local popular dish, Fried Glass Noodle. Is tasty with generous portion of ingredients.

Pricing is around RM20-30 per pax with tax and drinks, a lil bit on the high side for this type of food. Luckily the food didn’t disappoint. Drink definately is overpriced. The varieties on the menu is on the low side. Customer service is friendly and good. Much better than the robots at Newyork Newyork restaurant that has no clue what you talking about.
Overall, a very positive visit and definately a revisit.

nice food!
u should actually go try the gardens lower ground, there is a little korea shack.. not that cheap but the food is really nice and they use healthy rice. their bim bim bap and also the bulgogi is very good. family business.
the good at this garden is it the same as bangsar village 2 the garden concept? there is one there that looks like a garden as well, but the food serving u took looks small
been to full house, would never go back there for their food.. very dissapointing
the decor and food (even the way they decor the food) really look similiar to fullhouse, wondering they are running under same boss.
i asked the head waitress about Fullhouse, apparently she is from Fullhouse but the cook is not. i guess is not the same boss…
Fullhouse quality is dropping since my first visit.. i never went back after my third.
For the environment, i definitely
to it.. It make me feel like dining in the “Fairy tale Garden”, so romantic..

This is extraordinary! I never loose interest in looking at gardens and flowers. You’ve done a wonderful job expressing the art of this cafe. Mmmm and the food!

1- salad plate was warm… since i dont eat as fast, my salad (which is upposed to be cold) got warm instantly
2- pasta was not “al dente”
3- caesar dressing tasted like mayo..
friendly staff .. though the “chef” in the expo area was eating while fixing up our food… not too hygenic..
went to this place last nite
…we ordered spaghetti seafood olio & seafood noodle & green tea…the spaghetti’s taste not so nice juz ok la
the seafood noodle which recommended by chef oso not so gud
…the spaghetti is slightly better…i think they shud remove the ladybird (used to state recommended by chef) from their menu for this seafood noodle…or improve the taste…
will think again for the next visit
Ya, we celebrated our anniversary there but hubby said the food was not as tasty as expected. We waited for more than 20 mins for our food to be served. I personally felt that the ambience and table setup was romantic. If you are going there for food, please re-consider. If you are looking for a fine atmosphere to dine with your love one or friends, this is not a bad venue… so it depends on the occasion
But hey VOIR card can get 20% discount (or 10% I couldn’t recall)
Julie & BP, if you into the ambience, you have to go to Fullhouse at NZX
guy, would it b possible if i wanna make sum reservation at diz reataurant??
