So how much durian you think you can eat in 1 seating? Before I went for the durian buffet!!, I thought I can whack at least 5 durians personally. So after calculating paying RM9 per pax and eating 5 durians, that makes less than RM2 per durian… cheap right? So off we went…
I think now is the durian season as you can see lots of stall at the usual “durian place” at SS2 PJ setting up and all of them offering buffet style from RM9 to RM20. We went for the Ss2durian.com but was told that the RM9 promo is over since lunch. Feeling lazy to scout the other stalls, we just settled there for their RM15 promo for the D24.
Upon sitting, then they brought 3 durians and opened it in front of us. So we started our marathon…
We both came with empty stomach, thinking to eat as much as we can. But by the 4th durian (2 for each of us), I already getting dizzy… from durian overload!
The quality of the durian is so so, can’t compare to those kampung one. But for the price we paying and the amount we are eating, I think is still worth it. We ended up eating only five durians in total before we gave up. I think we should come with more people so that we can eat slowly, digest it then can whack more!

If can’t eat much then just get those nice quality durian and eat for quality but not quantity.
samatkong, i think you have your point.. maybe we will consider the your suggestion for our next visit… Go for quality rather than quantity

i went to eat again yesterday for the RM10 eat all u can.. i swear i won’t eat durian for the next 5yrs!
Great job eating 5 durians between two of you. I just went to the Durian buffet and ate 8.5 Durians with the help of 3 friends. We started feeling pretty crazy and hot while eating. I will always remember the durian buffet!
