If you are a pork lover or Hakka food lover, you should give this shop at The Curve a try. The pricing is actually on the high side especially the drinks but the food is nice.
Actually this is not my first time eating there but because of the rather expensive price tag, I don’t eat there often. And on 1 particular day while window shopping at the Curve, this particular poster grabbed my attention (who wouldn’t). The picture show an extremely tempting plate of Hakka mee!

So without hesitation, I went in and ordered a plate. While the taste of it is not bad, you can taste a bit of dried cuttlefish flavor, and generous ingredients, but the real thing is far from the pictures don’t you think so? ![]()

We are a fan of Hakka “Lui Char” so we decided to order one. But half way thru’, we saw this special “Lui Char”. Instead of the usual “Lui Char” in tea soup, this is a fried rice “Lui Char”. Very unique so we decided on that. When the plate of rice was served, oh my.. the presentation wow us.. And the taste is quite nice too.

Overall the food there is not bad. The food are very strong in taste and flavorful, and yet they claim no MSG was added which I kinda doubt a bit. Price is on the high side. RM20/pax including tax and drinks if you go for the single serving dish. It will be more expensive if you order dishes meant to be shared.

yum yum.. lui char, my favorite.
been there once, and normal dishes for 2 were like rm70 ! i think its not really worth it, esp if i can cook the dishes myself at home..hehehe
ulat, quick quick go test test…
xin, wow i din know u can cook hakka! but surprisingly, the shop is always crowded even with the hefty price tag…
That was my 1st visit to “Ying Ker Lou”, i would said is the food there are absolutely my taste. I like most of the dishes in there such as “lui char”, “stream minced pork”, “Mui Choy” frieid rice and etc… I keen to try all the food there, but it is too pricey which we can only afford to go there occasionally.
