Good for a quick and light meal, Just Dessert located in The Curve serve quite interesting food on their menu and has a decent seating environment for your meal or a gathering with your friends. If you are bored with all those new “kopitiam” cafe (serving similar food) that keep on popping up every now and then ever since the pioneer Uncle Lim pioneered the idea, I guess you can give this a try.
They may not be the top of the class in terms of taste, but they do have some interesting items on the menu. For example, I ordered a water melon juice but it is not your ordinary juice, coz’ they top it up with “suit kap” (frog jelly). Of course the price is also more pricey because of this…
Another very unique dish is this bacon with lychee. I mean wow.. who thought of this combination! Out of curiosity we ordered this dish, pretty okay!
Yet another bacon dish because I like bacon so much.. couldn’t resists it. From the menu, it was listed as streaky bacon which has more fats and of course more yummy, however the real thing was only back bacon which is more lean. Nevertheless, any bacon is still tasty.
Not the typical place where you will order such “tai chow” dishes and expect it to be any good, but this plate of Cantonese-style Rice still passable. Not too bad…
Pricing is similar to fast-food rate, service was good and overall I think I wouldn’t mind returning once awhile.

I went there when they opened for a few months as the manager, a friend of mine was from Cozen; an Italian store in The Curve now replaced by Big Apple closed down recently at that time.
Just Dessert wasn’t good…
