At around 10am, there are hardly any shops open for business in 1Utama. Otak-Otak place serves the morning crowd and they also have this RM5 breakfast promotion set for orders before 11am. A Japanese takes on Italian cusine? Pasta Zanmai in 1Utama is a spin-of from the popular Sushi Zanmai located in 1Utama too. Since I’m not a big fan of sushi but my wife loves it, I guess Pasta Zanmai is a good compromise. I have been to Sushi Zanmai once and find it quite interesting compare to other sushi restaurant, so I believe Pasta Zanmai should not dissapoint me. I’m sure if you walk pass this shop in Tropicana City mall, you would wonder what kind of restaurant is that. The design is rather unique with anime drawing instead of your usual food drawing and of cuz their mascot, the cute little ninja. A continuation from my previous post about my last Malacca trip, probably the best food I had during that trip was the Mille Crepe at Nadeje. I have first eaten this layered cake in PJ before and found it was good. But I heard the one in Malacca is so much better and it is not an exaggeration. It is extremely good!
