A Japanese takes on Italian cusine? Pasta Zanmai in 1Utama is a spin-of from the popular Sushi Zanmai located in 1Utama too. Since I’m not a big fan of sushi but my wife loves it, I guess Pasta Zanmai is a good compromise. I have been to Sushi Zanmai once and find it quite interesting compare to other sushi restaurant, so I believe Pasta Zanmai should not dissapoint me. I’m sure if you walk pass this shop in Tropicana City mall, you would wonder what kind of restaurant is that. The design is rather unique with anime drawing instead of your usual food drawing and of cuz their mascot, the cute little ninja. A continuation from my previous post about my last Malacca trip, probably the best food I had during that trip was the Mille Crepe at Nadeje. I have first eaten this layered cake in PJ before and found it was good. But I heard the one in Malacca is so much better and it is not an exaggeration. It is extremely good! What is better than eating Gula Melaka (Palm Sugar) at Malacca itself. Recently I went on a day trip to Melacca for some food crawl for some of the famous food over there. The last time I visited Malacca was some 20 years ago in one of those primary school trip. I couldn’t remember much but I’m sure they didn’t bring us to eat food like chicken rice ball or cendol.
